Weekly Prayer

Hi everyone, Happy Easter to all.

When Jesus died at Calvery, the place of His crucifixion, people came from
miles to see. They said, " if You be the Christ come down and save Your
life."

But sweet Jesus never answered them ,for He knew that satan was tempting
Him. If He had come down from the cross our soul would still be lost. He
suffered and died that we may live. No one else can give us the gift of
Eternal Life.

Must Jesus bear the cross alone and all the world go free?
No, there is a cross for everyone. Some of our days have been filled
with worry, sorrow and care; our heart have been lonely and in fear.
It is amazing however that our burdens were lifted at Calvery.

Let's take the time to think about what Jesus did for us!! Picture it, and
lay those burdens down right now at the foot of the cross. God will take
care of us. He always do Jesus is very near. When we come near to Him ,
He will come near to us. Let not your heart be troubled. He is our
answer, not man, woman, child, nor the government.

No one else died for us. Hallelujah, Jesus is alive!! He is risen and
He is Lord!! How can we forget!!

Our meditation is: Mark 15: 16-47, 16: 4-7...........Dorothy

Heavenly Father, We refuse to seek the living from among the dead. Jesus
is risen just like He said, and we are free to worship Him. We are free to
live for Him. We rejoice in Him. Glory to His name!!

For years many of us spent precious time in vanity & pride; or down and
out , caring not or not knowing that our Lord was crucified and died for
us. Thank You for not giving up on us until our guilty soul turned to
Calvery. We know You will not give up on the lost and needy we are
praying for. You are just waiting for that U-Turn toward You.

We can only imagine the crowd that stood around mocking
Him as He suffered and died.. Of the two thieves that died with Him, only
one cried out to Him & accepted what is offered to us all. None of us
want to miss out, so we cry out for help right now for ourselves and for
those seeking help but do not know You are it. Reveal Your "Realness" to
us & them as well.

Help all of us receiving this to live according to Your will. Help us to
see, understand, and accept Your divine plan for our life. Let our
children/ grandchildren not be lost. Keep us all from the evil one. Open
the eyes of our understanding so we will not walk in deception. Help us to
bear good fruit while on planet earth..

We know our redeemer live. We feel His tender loving care; We see His
hand of mercy; we hear His voice of cheer.
Just when we need Him most, He is always there.

Forgive us Lord when we blame You instead of embracing all You have given
us. Help us to focus on Christ and how/why He was slain. Keep us
mindful of how He rose triumphantly in power and majesty that we may live
victoriously. We proclaim the glory of His name!!

We get up today with a new determination to walk and live in the power of
God the Holy Spirit. We will not give up, we will not act defeated. Give
us what we need to touch the lives of others You send our way who do not
know about all this good stuff yet. Anoint us as we share our story in
humility to bring life to those still seeking the living among the dead.

We thank You for helping us to remember who we owe all we are and all we
have to; He is our Bright and Morning star. The Alpha and the Omega. His
name is Jesus!! In that name we pray. Amen.

I'm sorry I have not been blogging recently due to illness. I'm feeling much better now and plan on keeping it more updated.

Have a great day!

First Class

Our first class went well. We had 8 come and they all said they would be back. I'll be updating this blog every class. The next one is the 27th of January at 6:30 p.m. at Hope Christian Church in Room 101, off of the sanctuary.

This last class, we talked to everyone; some lost husbands, sons, mothers, dads and sisters. We prayed for each and everyone of them. One of the gentleman that came, lost his father. I received an email from a lady, whose friend lost her son on Christmas Day. She would like to come to this class. Let us pray for God to bring her to our class.

We welcome anyone to come.
